Overview
Starlink Mini is overkill for normal camping and completely reasonable for remote work.
For ordinary camping, internet can be the thing you are trying to escape. For remote work, weather checks, family logistics, and long road trips, it can be the tool that makes a trip possible.
The Mini lane is about smaller pack size and simpler deployment, but it still needs power, sky view, service, and a realistic expectation of trees, canyons, storms, and obstructions.
It belongs in a van or travel kit when connection is part of the plan, not when you are pretending every campsite needs a streaming setup.
Remote internet is either ridiculous or essential. The trip decides which.
