My Notes

This is the kind of tool that makes you slow down and pay attention. You can see the hammer marks in the head and the stamp in the cheek. It feels like something a person made on purpose, not a random casting off a line.

Edge: Comes properly sharp. A quick strop keeps it there. You do not have to reprofile it out of the box.
Control: Choking up behind the head feels natural, which makes feather sticks and camp carving way easier on the hands.
Care: It is high carbon steel. Wipe it down, add a little oil, and it will stay clean. Neglect it and you will see patina and rust pretty fast.
