ENO DoubleNest Hammock

ENO DoubleNest hammock hanging between trees
Hammock Double 400 lb rating Packable
Overview

This is the hang out after camp is set up hammock that somehow keeps ending up in the truck on every trip.

The DoubleNest is wide enough that you can actually lay on the diagonal and get mostly flat instead of feeling like a folded taco. The fabric has a soft feel without feeling fragile, and it holds two people as long as you are realistic about how much sprawling you are going to do.

It packs into its own pocket and disappears in a bin or side compartment until you land somewhere with trees that are worth sitting under. Clip it to proper straps, lean back, and suddenly the rest of camp moves at half speed.

Best for Forest road camps, lakeside hangs, backyard naps, and giving someone a place to read or scroll away from the picnic table.
Not for Snow camping, places with no trees or anchor points, or anyone expecting a full bug net and rain fly in the same bundle.

If you like the idea of camp having a real lounge spot instead of just chairs, this is an easy yes.

My Notes

This is one of those things that makes camp feel like more than a place to sleep. It turns dead time into actual rest.

  • Setup: Tree straps with multiple loops make it way easier to get the sag right without retying anything.
  • Cold: If you plan to sleep in it, you need an underquilt or a pad under you. Air under your back will rob heat fast.
  • Camp flow: I like to set this up a little away from the fire so it stays smoke free and becomes the quiet corner.
