Overview
Close to the water, tucked in the pines. Lakeview is the easy button for camping near Upper Lake Mary.
If you like short paved approaches and shaded loops, this is it. Sites are flat with tables and rings, and you’re a quick hop to the lake for paddling, fishing, or an evening walk by the shoreline. It books up on weekends, so plan ahead in season.
Nights cool off nicely, mornings carry bird noise, and wind can wander through the trees. Treat it like a comfortable basecamp for Lake Mary and the Ashurst/Marshall area.
Outer-loop sites feel a touch quieter. I walk to the lake at golden hour and let the day wind down there.
